Our firm is best known for assisting clients in real estate closing transactions primarily in Pickens, Oconee and Anderson Counties.
However, we also provide other legal services, including estate planning, probate and business formations.
We are a well-established, fast-paced firm dedicated to our clients and the community.

Job Purpose:
Provide clerical and administrative support for the firm.
Responsible for the initial intake of information (in person, over the phone, or through email) from clients, lenders and real estate agents.
Primary Duties - Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate team member.
-Greet clients as they arrive for appointments.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, such as entering basic file reference information into office systems (Qualia and Clio), create real estate case files, assign case file number, and maintain list of files, create files.
Attend to requests from clients and related parties such as copying or faxing documents.
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments and meetings.
- Coordinate and organize case files and documents.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist attorneys and legal staff.
-Draft letters and other legal correspondences and documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Order and Maintain all the office and kitchen supplies.
(Will require some lifting of boxes).
Process incoming mail by opening and distributing it appropriately.
Respond to office emails such as title requests, sales contracts, or other requests for legal services.
Provide local courier services for the office, when needed.
Witness the signing of legal documents.
Perform other tasks or duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications - Previous experience as a legal receptionist or in a related role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of real estate legal terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with client management systems is a plus, specifically Clio.
-Familiarity with Qualia, a real estate management software, preferred but not required.

Education:
High School Diploma Licensing/Registration/Certification:
None Required although Notary Public Preferred
Experience:
Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a business office -Experience with Microsoft, Qualia, SoftPro, and Clio preferred.
Knowledge Required:
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills, be highly organized, and possess strong computer literacy.
This role requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
The Legal Secretary will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
