Apartment Maintenance Technician - Clemson

We are looking to hire a maintenance technician to complete resident service requests. Our goal is to complete these within 24 hours, so this is a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, hard work and the highest levels of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose problems, and make repairs in a timely manner.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance repairs
Assist in making vacant apartments ready for new resident (including painting, carpet cleaning)
Assist in maintaining grounds and pool
Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors to ensure that property operates in an efficient and economic manner.
Follow all safety programs implemented by Sandalwood Management, Inc. according to the company policy
Essential skills and experience
The ideal candidate should have at least 12 months experience in apartment maintenance or construction including:
Painting
Plumbing
HVAC certification
Appliances
Flooring/carpentry (minor)
Apartment Turns
Landscape Maintenance
Electrical systems (minor)
Pool maintenance experience
Other essential attributes:
Be able to lift 75 Lbs.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
TRAVEL/ATTENDANCE:
Ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Our community staffing limitations make it critical for you to work your scheduled hours consistently as well as overtime if necessary when requested.
Ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary
LICENSES:
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of job's functions
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
